We went to see Cirque Shanghai this afternoon… it was unbelievable. My 4 year old, said “no way” so many times I lost count and my 2 year old, got really upset when the show was over! My son made so many different faces of shock and pure joy, so not only was it fun to watch the show but great to see how much they both enjoyed it. He said his favorite part was the Circle of Destiny when two guys balanced inside two enormous spinning wheels and my daughter loved the costumes. I have to say that the entire show was entertaining and my husband and I were in awe of all the stunts, balancing and juggling!
The show also includes bike balances, hoop diving, group chair stack, teeterboard act, the wheel of death and a daredevil motorcycle troupe riding in a steel globe. It’s definitely worth seeing!
For those of you that have never been to the Pepsi® Skyline Stage, it is a 1,500-seat, canopied, open-air theater at Navy Pier®. Today was rather cold and rainy, but we brought a fleece blanket and snuggled together which I loved.
There is a parking garage and food court all the same area which made it very easy.
